John Appleby5 StarWe started research in to local companies that could carry out a loft conversion and was very impressed by reviews for James.
James showed up on time, within a day of enquiring and gave us his professional opinion of what would work best for our property. (Mainly regarding fire safety/stairs position/maximising space).
He also was able to show us around a current project his team were working on and other builders said there was nothing they could show us. So being able to see James’ team at work, totally renovating a house from top to bottom, was brilliant.
Another important factor was that they don’t switch between projects which meant our conversion wouldn’t have taken double/triple the time. So the whole conversion was done in 6 weeks and there were people here every single day! That was another major reason we chose James as other builders actually admitted there may be some days/weeks that no one would turn up at all.
So I would highly recommend James for the quality, professionalism, price and overall experience. He’s just finished an extension at my parents property and James is due back in the next month or so, to do our next extension/project!Friday 21st April 2023

The team were communicative and always kept me informed about the progress of the job.
The finished product was done in the agreed timescale and was top-notch, we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Our loft had quite a few challenges, but the team that was assigned to our project was highly qualified to deal with these. From initial planning to completion, we felt looked after and our loft was completed within the set time frames and to our absolute satisfaction.
