Making Rooms refitted our downstairs bathroom, built an extension across the back of the house and fitted a new kitchen for us. Before the work started, Steve spent quite a bit of time with us to find out what we wanted and came up with 2 or 3 options with different features and budgets. It was very clear before we started which trades were included in the Making Rooms remit and what we would have source, so there were no surprises. There's no question about the quality of the work delivered by the Making Rooms teams. Steve was responsive and had a very pragmatic approach to issues or queries that were raised. If work fell slightly behind for any reason, the teams made themselves available to catch up. They were really amenable as we remained in the house as the works were being carried out. We loved the finished kitchen, which has become the heart of our home, as we wanted it to be. Steve has also responded to a couple of things we have contacted him about since the extension was completed, in fact the works started 6 years ago this month. We have recommended Making Rooms to a couple of people we know.

Making Rooms converted our loft space into a master bedroom and built a single storey extension for us. The project was completed early against a speedy programme, whilst still delivering to fantastic quality. We were so impressed with the level of communication throughout the project; both providing excellent advice to us but also listening to our needs. The disruption was kept to an absolute minimum throughout and our neighbours were exceptionally complementary of the workforce. The project was great value for money and they gave complete transparency on scope and costs - most of the competitors who quoted gave next to no detail - which allowed us to make informed decisions and control budgets. Would strongly recommend Making Rooms to anyone considering doing work to their homes. Your house is in good hands!

MakingRooms did three projects for us: a kitchen extension /knock through: a veranda with underneath storage: and an end-of-garden studio. The reasons we went back to MakingRooms for each new project were the same: punctual and polite project management (where courtesy goes a long way) and excellent sub-contractors and trades. Not every project goes to plan - but the sign of a good building company is one that can adapt and deal with issues that arise. MakingRooms were excellent in that regard. Parkway - Raynes Park

Such a good experience from start to finish. The team always checked in and we were never made to feel that anything was too much. The handling of payments was so easy. We always knew what we were paying for. Would happily use Steve and his team again.

Making Rooms proceeded diligently with the works and were professional in how they overcame some unforeseen issues that prolonged the programme. The standard or work and communications were good throughout. Recommended for your extension.
