We used JMB design & build for our double storey, side extension. This was a huge project and throughout every stage, James talked us through all the steps and made us feel very at ease. All of James' team that completed our building work, were excellent in their work, superb quality craftsmanship, very professional and a real pleasure to have around the house. As with any building work of this size, when problems arose, James & his team were quick to find solutions and all his team worked really well together to resolve. The team kept the house & surrounding area as clean as possible each day & we are so pleased with our new, beautiful extended house. We would definitely recommend James & his team to anyone who has any building work. Thank you JMB design & build.

James is one of the most professional builders I have ever met. Since day one on the project, he was always willing to put us first and making sure all our needs were met. Even when changes happened through out he would go out of his way to make sure we were happy with the product and end result. When we had given James ideas of what we wanted doing he would give us various options and made sure everything was up to a high standard of work. I found him to be honest, hardworking and always keeping us up to date. If/When I need more work doing I'll be sure to call him and his team again.

Review for JMB Design & Build Edit Review HU-680012660 Relationship: Client Project Date: October 2022 My objectives were to creat a toilet from a built in pantry, create sufficient storage so as to keep worktops 100% free, leave no appliances exposed, modernise exterior power and lighting, improve power efficiency and modernise styling. I failed in that I have a toaster, spoon rest and a box of tissues on the work top. My favourite features are the boiling water tap, built in coffee and tea bar and several automatic light systems. With such a multi-trade discipline I looked for a company I could trust and found them via Houzz. JMB Design & Build cleverly solved any problems as they arose and completed to my entire satisfaction. James managed my project professionally and wisely - always making sure I was a happy bunny. His back up administrator Jannett kept lines of communication flowing so I needn’t worry about anything. I also appreciated the skilled craftsmen employed by James and found them to be very considerate. Obviously I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JMB for your project. We were looking for a reputable construction company in Hertfordshire that could carry out a complete renovation of our property. We got in contact with JMB and from the offset James and Janette were brilliant to work with. All the following parts of the project were completed in addition to a rear 6 x 4 metre extension on our two-bed cottage. knock through, with open plan living, kitchen with huge island,media wall, new front door, new flooring, new staircases, new bathrooms, outdoor gym, new driveway, two new patio areas, new stairs back garden, re turf, new fences throughout the garden and two metal electric gates on the driveway. We are thoroughly satisfied with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend JMB to anyone looking for a company to handle major construction projects!
