I'm writing this post a year on from the loft extension. We're really happy with everything, it looks great and has all heaps up well. We only had one minor adjustment needed and they came round a fixed it. Definitely a great team to pick to do your loft. Would recommend!

Tom and his team are incredibly professional, thorough and efficient. Tom understood our specific tastes and needs and executed on them. Tom and the team took the time to listen to our ideas and provided helpful advice throughout the entire build process, they made it a seamless experience. Communication from benchmark was always first class, and the platform they use to gather all of the key details from clients is simple to use and great for tracking progress of the build. I always felt that I was in the loop as Tom was very responsive to queries. The finish is of a very high quality. I highly recommend Benchmark lofts.

Tom and his team just completed a loft conversion for us. We are very happy with the work and found the project management smooth and efficient. We are particularly pleased with the carpentry carried out by Pawel who built our joinery for us; the painter we had in afterwards who was not connected to Benchmark actually commented on the quality of the work which is obviously a good sign of the craftsmanship from someone knowledgeable. Our Forman Bobby was friendly and responsive to any requests we had. We moved out the house for most of the project and our neighbour commented to us that they hadn’t had any disturbance from the work which was very comforting to hear. Planning and general project management was pretty seamless, using the Buildertrend portal and app. Tom was very clear in setting things out, patient in explaining things, and also quick to respond to any requests and alterations we had. In terms of the cost, Benchmark’s quote came in the middle of the range of the quotes I obtained from various places, but the lower quotes were both from places that outsourced the work, so benchmark provided the best quote of the firms that keep things in house and so give you the reassurance that they will retain responsibility for the project. The project came in on budget with the only additional costs from changes we requested ourselves. In summary I would say we think we received very high quality work, at a reasonable price, from a team who were a pleasure to work with. Would not hesitate to recommend.
