We used Ballards for a loft conversion and would highly recommend them. We used both their architect and building services to plan and build our loft. They did what that said they would, in the time they said they would at the price agreed. What we particularly liked is that they checked in regularly during the process to double check design features and make further recommendations, for example a change of door positioning which made a big improvement to how the space could be used. They were also thorough with the snagging list and made sure everything was addressed before leaving site.

Would highly recommend Ballards if you are considering a loft conversion. Ours has recently been completed and we were hugely impressed by their professionalism, great attention to detail and ability to offer creative solutions from start to finish, resulting in a top notch build which we are really happy with. On top of this, we found Jess and the team to be genuinely nice people to have around; friendly, courteous and respectful of our home and neighbours throughout the process.

We were very impressed with Ballard's from start to finish on our loft project. Martin came up with a fantastic design and nothing was too much trouble. Jess was outstanding and is a perfectionist when it comes to his trade. On time and on budget, would not look anywhere else and have already recommended them to friends. Great company!

We used Jess Ballard to do our loft conversion and he was incredible from start to finish! Started and finished on time as planned and came in at the same price he quoted months before beginning the loft. He was a pleasure to have around the house, spotlessly clean and impeccable attention to detail. Everything was finished to the highest standard and he offered invaluable advice and opinions along the way as well as coming along on lots of evenings and weekends to discuss aspects of the build with us. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for hard working and honest builder, he is fantastic!

When we first contacted Ballard Lofts, Martin Ballard explained the process to us from start to finish as we had no idea how things worked. Ballard Lofts not only did our loft conversion they also drew up all the plans and put them forward for council planning which I thought was brilliant! Martin also gave us 4 A4 pages of references to contact. When the work started, the builders Chris (Forman) and Dave always arrived at 7:45 ready to start work at 8, they were polite and well mannered. They always kept us up to date with what was happening and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. At every stage of the build Chris and Dave were tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. Towards the end of the build we went on holiday so Chris had a set of keys and carried on, we spoke every day and he kept us up to date with the progress. We are so pleased with the work that Ballard Lofts carried out and the way in which the builders conducted themselves through out the build, they were polite, hard working and trustworthy and we would be more than happy to recommend Ballard Lofts to our family and friends.
