We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ash Island. They converted what we thought was a small unusable space into a roomy, light double bedroom and bathroom loft conversion which has transformed our house and looks as though it's always been there. They took care of the whole process from design through planning to completion. They clearly are total experts and we received a much better service from them than anyone else we looked at in terms of design, cost and timescales. They were friendly, efficient and trustworthy throughout and excellent value for money. Thank you to everyone at Ash Island!

The loft conversion was my wife Susan’s pet project, and she was highly delighted with how it turned out. No-one who came to the house after it was completed escaped without being led by the hand up to the top of the house to check out the perfectly-matched staircase, the new bedroom, the luxurious new bathroom, her new open landing study area, and the cunning storage cupboards that somehow managed to swallow up the mountain of junk that had been up there before. Ash Island did a fantastic job and I recommend them wholeheartedly, as they were recommended to us by a member of my cricket team. They completed the work even quicker than they promised – and they were already comfortably the quickest we were offered when shopping around. They carted off all the debris every few days, so there was no skip left hanging around outside for weeks. Their teams were cheerful and friendly – one of our neighbours remarked that he had enjoyed hearing their jokes in his native language over the fence. Best of all, though, is the follow-up care. New building work inevitably settles a little to begin with, and the little problems that needed ironing out in the subsequent weeks – a door that needed re-planing to fit, a bit of fence that got knocked over by the scaffolder – were dealt with immediately, the same day we rang up, and always with a smile. And when Matt came round to take aerial pictures he let my sons have a go with the drone. What more could you want? Go for it.

My wife and I had our loft conversion done by Ash Island back in January and February and couldn't be happier with the end result. From the very start, with our first meeting with Matt to discuss our plans, all the way through to completion, they were fantastic throughout. The construction team were always on time each day, kept us updated with the schedule, made sure the property was kept as clean as possible, always found solutions to tricky problems, resolved the few issues there were straight away and completed the work in a quick timeframe and to a brilliant standard. The neighbours also commented on how good Ash Island were! We are so happy that we chose Ash Island and highly recommend them to anyone else looking to have a loft conversion done.

We are really happy with our loft conversion (two bedrooms and one bathroom) and Matt and the team made it a really smooth and easy process from start to finish. The level of detail and breakdown to their quote was refreshingly transparent and meant there were no unexpected surprises at the end. Karel managed our project day to day and he was brilliant. A real asset to the business - very efficient and on top of everything. Communication was great throughout. We were impressed with the speed of the build and the project ran seamlessly. We were happy with the quality of the work, and all the trades people who worked on our house were respectful throughout - we lived through the build with two small children so this was important. We are thrilled with the final results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ash Island and use them again in the future.
